In 2010, Nyla returned to her family home in Clarendon with a vision of creating a small homestead farm on the 18 acres of scrub land situated on a hill... a hill located on the Clarendon - Lindon Fault ...a hill that quakes due to seismic activity. Thus was born Quaking Hill Farm.
It was a great idea but she needed help. Wild animals killed her chickens and guinea fowl. Her Farmall Cub tractor kept breaking down. The chainsaw didn't work right, and promised help never materialized. She was about to give up her dream of clearing the land and having a productive farm operation. BUT THEN...she met several neighbors who had returned to the community and also had a dream of having a farm that specialized in producing healthy food the old fashioned way. From these friendships and mutual interests a partnership was born and Quaking Hill Farm has become a reality, producing the finest turkeys, chickens, and rabbits for discerning customers who want fresh, healthy, naturally raised meat and eggs.
Locally raised poultry and livestock.
We have a commitment to preserving heritage breeds.
Our free range, hormone free animals are raised the old fashioned way - on a family farm. They are well cared for, healthy and humanely harvested. Our chickens are so healthy they often lay double yolk eggs.
